Chucky VS Robert is a 2018 horror film directed by don mancini. The film is a crossover between the Child's Play and Robert the Doll franchises. It is the eigth installmant in the Child's Play film series and the fifth installment in Robert the Doll film series. This is not the last film in neither franchises since none of them were rebooted.
The film takes place after the events of The Curse of Robert the Doll. Trying to get revenge on Paul, Jenny, and Gene, Robert ends up in the home of their newest neighbour, Andy Barclay. Andy fails to notice Robert’s presence as he’s too busy with his son Billy’s birthday where he wants a Good Guy Doll. Despite his past experiences with the infamous Good Guy Doll, Chucky, Andy and his wife decide to get him one, unaware that it’s actually Chucky. After Chucky reveals himself to be alive, Robert does as well. While Chucky desires to possess the bodies of either Andy or Paul, Robert wishes to have revenge on the latter. This sends the two dolls into a conflict with both families caught in the middle.
